| Edition: | This is a descriptive study of the achievements of the municipal mayors of Tigbauan from 1947 up to the present. This study focused on mayoral election, reelection and implementation of municipal projects, programs and policies. In undertaking this study, the researcher interviewed mayoral secretaries, confidants, campaign managers family members, and political rivals. An interview guide was administered to conduct a spontaneous interview with key respondents. The important findings of the study are: the personality traits, personal material resources, bailiwick, family support, performance, political organization and the patron and client characteristics of mayors contributed to their election, reelection and successful implementation of government projects, programs and policies. |
