Shamans, witches, and Philippine society

The aswang or witch is one of the givens of the Philippines cultural scene. The witch was very much in evidence in the Philippines past, pre-Hispanic, Hispanic and American. Dr. Maximo Dumlao Ramos and other scholars have made extensive collections and studies of them.
