Isolation of oleandrin, a cardiotonic glycoside from the leaves and stems of Nerium indicum Linee (Family Apocynaceae)

Oleandrin, a cardiotonic glycoside may be isolated from the leaves of Nerium indicum by refluxing with 65% ethanol.
