Executive Order No. 100 A. L. Lawshe, Auditor of the Philippine Archipelago; Frank A. Branagan, Treasurer of the Philippine Archipelago, and Beckman Winthrop, Assistant Executive Secretary for the Philippine Islands, are hereby appointed a committee to investigate each item of the Spanish Seized Funds, returns at the Mint; returns at the Treasury, and special deposits listed on pages sixteen to twenty-one, inclusive, of the Auditor's report for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and one, and to render a report thereon of the deposits which have an ascertained value, of those which have an unascertained value but which value may be determined by their sale, and of those which may be without monetary value, with recommendation as to the disposition to be made of said items for the purpose of converting them into a definite sum which may be taken up by the Treasurer in his revenue account ; the report when made to be submitted to the Civil Governor for reference to the Philippine Commission for its action. September 6, 1902
