   <subfield code="a">The use of learning modules in classroom instruction has been proven effective in motivating students to learn and appreciate classroom lessons, discussions, and activities. The modules aid the teachers in creating an atmosphere that fosters among students the desire to actively participate in classroom activities. It enhances instruction-the teaching, the learning, and the overall student engagement. This study aimed to develop the computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) module to help students appreciate the learning of Statistics and eventually apply their learning in real life situations. This study considered interviews and classroom observations as important in the development of modules. Interviews with teachers and students were used to determine the issues and concerns of students in learning Statistics, while classroom observations were done to validate the interviews and to understand the needs and concerns in learning Statistics. Computer application such as MS Excel, as among the interest of the students, was integrated in Statistics lessons to make the learning of Statistics more interesting. teachers' suggestions regarding the effective materials needed to learn statistics were considered to enhance the skills of students in doing statistical analysis. The module aims to help teachers improve instructions and encourage continuous evaluation and assessment of the learning modules in statistics. The usability and effectiveness of the computer-supported collaborative  learning modules in statistics was determined using the adopted evaluation tool. The evaluation of teachers regrading the effectiveness of the  modules in learning statistics were compared with reference to summated scoring using independent t-test. Findings show no significant difference between the two sets of evaluations which means the module was effective enough for statistics classes among junior high schools. Results of the study may benefit not only teachers and students but school administrators, policy makers, and experts in curriculum planning and evaluation.</subfield>
