<subfield code="a">The aim of this study was no investigate the utilization of existing resources and services of the libraries of selected international school in Metro Manila. There are five international schools included in the study and 80 high school teachers were surveyed to determine their rates of expectation and satisfaction toward the library services and products.

The study followed the Expectation Confirmation Theory to predict the intention of library users to come back to the library and to see how the library resources and services influence this intent, the rates of satisfaction and of expectations for the library services and resources in the international schools were determined. The data was collected through a questionnaire measuring the frequency of use, utilization, expectation, and satisfaction of users. It was followed by an unstructured interview for clarification and further elaboration of answers on the survey. Among most utilized services and products of are Ask-a-Librarian, various learning resources, printing and photocopying facilities, and the use of audio-visual room. Children’s books and access to OPAC are also among the most consumed components of the library.

It was found out that high school teachers have very high expectations for the libraries’ Internet service, photocopying and printing facilities, OPAC, and computers, This shows that a lot of teachers expect a great deal of technological advancement from school libraries of international schools. On the other land, they have very low expectations on the journal/serials and theses dissertations due to the usual lack of these resources in the collection of the libraries of international schools.

To gauge whether the libraries are meeting the needs of users, satisfaction is contrasted against their expectation. It was learned that that the services and resources in the library met very high to high expectations. Although similarly, those that received very low expectations from teachers met a neutral to dissatisfaction rate. Surprisingly, the teachers were satisfied with the library products and services that they have low expectations of. The study recommended some actions to play on the strengths of the libraries and development areas that need improvements such as their collection on research materials.</subfield>
