However, as we became more modernized and influences by the western cultures, it was reduced to being an old wives tale, fiction to tickle our fantasy and imagination. Our myths became a shadow of our pagan past and are sloely being reduced to nothing but literature. This film attempts to reconnect our modern world into the world of tikbalangs, diwatas and aswangs in a way that they continue to exist even in this urbanied society. Also, this thesis aims to reflect a portion of our political structure, albeit in a cruder and simpler way. The filmmaker believed that part of being human is its nature to ultimately serve oneself."
