   <subfield code="a">An outdoor test facility based on the open-loop design has been developed for determining the efficiency of solar flat plate collectors. The applicability and adoption of the various published standards on collector testing like the ASHRAE, AFNOR, DIN/BSE, EIR and CSIRO under actual Philippine climatological conditions are discussed. Features of the developed test facility are described and results obtained using one of the published standards are presented.</subfield>
