   <subfield code="a">This is a study on the students' perception of the classroom spatial seating arrangement. Its main interest is to determine the following: (1)relation of exposure to perception, (2) differential level of the concept stimulus transmitted by the seating arrangements, (3) relation of seating arrangement to behavior, and (4) the proxemic behavior of the students. The multi-level approach characterized by the survey and experiment. The descriptive survey method was used to gather data from the sample size, while experimental method tested the hypothesis concerning the cause-and-effect relation between seating arrangement and behavior. The experimental research method determined if a single variable (classroom spatial arrangement) applied to situation can be assessed and the difference examined. The Spatial Arrangement Visual Cue Sheet and the Visual Notation Data Sheet were the instruments used. The semantic differential scale evaluated the concept stimulus transmitted by the three spatial seating arrangements. Based on the pretest-post test results of this experiment, perception between the control and experimental group changed with or without exposure. The t-test analysis for dependent variables determined no significant difference between the mean scores of the pretest and posttest of the sample group. The t-test analysis for independednt variables also determined no significant difference between the mean scores of the control and experimental groups. The rate of the concept stimulus transmitted by the three arrangements differed from each other and as a result, produced different behaviors. The proxemic behavior of the female high school students in this particular school was identified. Since the students are accustomed to the row and column seating arrangement, they prefer to be seated in this arrangement.</subfield>
