   <subfield code="a">Landslide is the primary natural hazard that needs to be address especially on area with steep slope like Antipolo City. This city has rapidly increase its population and establishments in the recent years. This unplanned urbanization on its steep slope without knowledge on probable occurrence of landslide on specific areas might cause loss in human lives and damage to properties. In order to identify those areas with potential landslide failure, a statistical model was used. The Remote Sensing technique and incorporating it in Geographic Infonnation System (GIS) technology aids as it is the ideal platfonn in identifYing the particular variables associated with the possible landslide locations. The identified parameters were correlated to the landslide event to detennine its significant influence in calculating the landslide susceptibility. A logistic regression was utilized to compute the coefficients of each key variables which were used to generate the equation for the susceptibility of different points in the area. The models were then validated using k- fold cross- validation and AUROC to their corresponding test data set. The created models will predict probable landslide on specific areas which will be essential for proper zoning and mitigation of the city.</subfield>
