   <subfield code="a">Toyota Material Handling (Philippines) face problems like : (a) growing demand for Toyota technicians due to growth and expansion and (b) resigning of our skilled (experienced) Toyota technicians to work overseas as OFWs. Moreover, our problems adds up as there is no technical school in our country that offers courses directly related to maintenance and repairs of material handling equipments to fill the gap in our demand for skilled technicians. First and foremost, this study aims to assess the multidimensional technical OJT program training method against other traditional technical training methods and to determine which technical training method is best for Toyota Material Handling (Philippines) in terms of : (a) maximizing technical learning curves (for technicians), and (b) minimizing technical training costs. Results of this study show that multidimensional technical OJT program training method yields the best combined skills learning curve and no technical training at all yields the worst learning curve. By simply implementing multidimensional technical OJT program training method, Toyota Material Handling (Philippines) cuts down : (a) training (learning) time of Toyota technicians by 14 weeks, and (b) training cost of 50 Toyota technicians by Php1,955,000 in savings, (c) technician employment turnover which translates to additional savings of Php455, 274 (total of Php2,410,274 in savings) from unnecessary re-training of new technicians. Not only that technical training time will be shorter and training cost will be cheaper, but OJTs will also by fully oriented, and trained before hired as Toyota technician. Having oriented, trained, efficient and productive Toyota technicians also translate to easier management for Toyota Material Handling (Philippines), higher quantity and quality of Toyota service, thus more satisfied Toyota customers.</subfield>
