   <subfield code="a">The product, Biocoal Fuel Briquette, is an alternative source of nonconventional fuel for cooking. To determine if the product is feasible, several aspects had to be studied. These are market, technical, financial, organizational and socio-economic. In the market study, the demand for the product will be determined and the target market specified. Based on the forecasted demand and supply, it has to be established if there is indeed a need that the product could satisfy. The marketing strategy will include marketing the product as a consumer product following a going rate price. An effective promotions strategy is also determined to be able to launch the product and for it to reach its market successfully. The next part of the feasibility study focuses on the technical aspect of the producing the product. It includes as assessment of the raw material requirements, the equipment, and the suppliers of the inputs, site selection, the capacity and production planning, and the design of the facilities. The plant will be able to operate following an effective production and capacity plan. Furthermore, the facilities and plant configurations were designed to fit the type of production. For the organizational and management analysis, the form of ownership will be a corporation, having the name (Biocoal Fuel Corporation or BFB Corp). Job requirements, workforce management programs plus salaries and benefits are the other highlights of organization analysis. In the financial analysis, the financial position of the firm will be evaluated for a period of 5 years. The project will be financed both by its owners and a commercial bank. From the financial statements and sensitivity analysis performed, the company?s ability to meet its debt as well as its profitability will be known. Finally, the social profitability analysis is essential in finding out if the project is socially attractive or not. This is an important part of the overall feasibility study because for a project to be indeed feasible it has to be beneficial not only in terms of financial aspects but as well as to the national economy, local government, community, and the environment. From all the parts of feasibility analysis, the product and the firm handling it will be assessed to determine the overall feasibility.</subfield>
