<subfield code="a">The study explored the profile of selected garment embroidery companies that use computer-aided embroidery machine embroidery in order to identify services and concerns related to the use of computer-aided embroidery machines. This study is a descriptive survey using the purposive sampling design in the selection of four companies that utilize computer-aided embroidery machines. Instrumentation used for obtaining data includes the following: structured questionnaires, interview guide, photo of the machines, and technical brochures from machine importers. The questionnaire was personally administered by the researcher to ensure the respondents confidentiality and non-disclosure of their responses for purposes other than this paper. The data was summarized in tabular, textual form and descriptive narratives were used to explain the differences and similarities among he companies' use of the computer aided embroidery machines. Results and findings of the study show that companies that provide computerized embroidery services are involved in high-level mass production. These companies utilize large-scale high-technology multi-head industrial machines in the production of embroidered goods. The study also revealed that costing for computer-aided embroidery serviced is determined by the following: quantity of orders, stitch count per design, size of design, and additional services needed for the type of design. There is a set procedure given by the companies to document all the abovementioned to facilitate pricing and details of the transaction. Moreover, companies offering computer-aided embroidery are concerned with problems related to machine maintenance, competition, and quality assurance. This research is a start to understanding options for the embroidery needs of apparel. Analysis and management of computer-aided embroidery machines for garment manufacturing should be done to further utilize this technology.</subfield>
