A total of 111 students from a public rural high school in Nueva Ecija participated in the study. Dta were analyzed using Descriptive Statistics, Spearman's Rho Product Moment Correlation and Independent T-test. The results of the study showed that financial stressors are the leading source of family related stressors. The secondary and tertiary sources are the social and physical stressors respectively. Gender difference was found to have no influence on the students' perception of family related stressors and experience of stress. On the other hand, family related stressors influence students' academic performance and school misbehaviors. However, experience of stress does not have a relationship with the students' academic performance and school misbehavior. Recommendations for further research are provided at the end of the paper.
