| 總結: | The gender and sexual and reproductive health and rights (G&SRHR) thesaurus was developed to function both as a cataloging and searching tool. The hybrid system of natural and controlled vocabularies for term analysis and classification was applied as research design. Inductive method was utilized. Bottom-up approach was employed for thesaurus construction. Set construction steps and formulated guidelines were adhered to. Term-collection was done through survey sheets augmented by key informant interviews and intensive literature scanning. Gathered index entries were distributed and categorized according to the core (Gender, Sexuality, and Reproductive Health) and peripheral (VAWC, Ethics, and Morality) areas previously identified. Seven out of the seventeen target institutions submitted index entries for analysis: three (HAIN, DOH, and WAGI) supplied data by means of the survey sheets while four (NCRFW, WCC, ISSA and UPCWS) referred literatures for scanning and warrant. Not all target institutions hold an established resource center, respectively. Consolidation of index terms revealed duplication and/or overlapping of entries in scope and context. An output of one hundred nineteen (119) preferred terms and twenty two (22) non-preferred or lead-in terms was generated in conventional alphabetical display (ISO 5964 specifications) with provision for a suggested list of subdivisions in aid of system indexers. In the end, the mobilization of all other G&SRHR NGOs throughout the country to take part in this project, continuous content building and material pre-testing for relevance and applicability were the major recommendations deemed to sustain activity of this undertaking. |
