<subfield code="a">Resource sharing programs have enabled libraries to achieve a more cost-efficient and maximized library services to meet users' various information and research needs. This study attempted to determine the feasibility of establishing a library resource-sharing and networking program among non-government organizations (NGOs) on women that are based in Quezon City. The study also focused on the information resources, services, manpower, budget, clientele and library cooperation programs. The objectives of the study were to know the nature of the library collection of the women NGOs in Q.C.; determine the availability of information resources which can be shared in terms of scope and area of specialization; find out the cooperative activities already being implemented and the problems encountered and determine how these libraries can organize a resource sharing program, with the possibility of establishing an automated library network among the women NGO libraries in Q.C.</subfield>

<subfield code="a">The descriptive research method was used in conducting this study. Interviews with librarians, administrative personnel and other staff were included to supplement data gathered from the questionnaire. A total of forty-three (43) respondents were the subject of the study. Results were tabulated and analyzed using the impressionistic method, as well as the mean, median and mode analyses to further analyze and interpret results of the items in the questionnaire.</subfield>

<subfield code="a">Findings of the study showed that limited financial resources are the major drawback among the women NGO libraries surveyed. Library collection and facilities of the respondents, though not all of them, are mostly acquired through donations and gifts. Library services, such as cataloging and classification are either done through 'copy cataloging' or cooperative cataloging programs. Although very few of the respondents are currently engaged in resource sharing activities, findings showed that majority of the respondents expressed willingness in engaging in a library resource sharing network among themselves, as this activity is beneficial in improving their collections and services.</subfield>
