It has additional sections on civil responsibility, population, national security, environment and international relations which are discussed to emphasize the importance of these issues in nation-building. The final chapter speaks of the Filipino as a global citizen, able to excess and contribute to the good of the global village. This book also includes "box stories" or feature stories which touch on the initiatives of private individuals and non-governmental organizations working toward the fulfillment of the President's Vision." It has colorful pictures and illustrations.
