It is divided into three parts and each annotator represent their own people: Bakuludan is a Maguindanaon, Hairulla is from Sulu, and Mariano is a Yakan.
AB  - The ethnic bibliographies presented in this publication are intended to start the process of assessing the state of ethnic studies on the people of Mindanao. The publication of three initial bibliographies on the Maguindanaons, Tausugs, and Yakans, fulfills one of the basic aims of the Mindanao Studies Program to contribute to a meaningful approach to Mindanao's history and culture.
