AB  - This seminar paper proposed instructional materials in the teaching of reported speech-      statements, questions, and commands/requests. The instructional materials are geared towards overcoming the difficulties encountered by fourth year high school students in learning English patterns of reported speech.  These teaching materials aim to develop proficiency in the           use of English reported speech patterns as well as to arouse deeper interest in other disciplines by  incorporating the composition lesson with the lessons in the other content areas in the fourth year level-Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Social studies (World History), Economics, Literature, Family Living, Physical Education, and Vocational courses.
