AB  - This study aimed to determine the viewership of noontime television variety shows. It also had the purpose of finding out the audience's profile and TV viewing habits.

A total of 150 sample respondents randomly selected from two cities and three municipalities of Metro Manila and Quezon City while the three municipalities were Makati, Marikina, and Parañaque.

Data were gathered through the use of [questionnaires] which were distributed to the respondents. Data analysis involved frequency counts and percentage distributions according categories used to measure the variables included in the study.

Findings indicated that entertainment was the primary reason given by the respondents for watching noontime TV variety shows. The most-viewed noontime TV variety show was Student Canteen on Channel 7 while the least viewed noontime TV variety show was Con Todo Pakulo on Channel 4. Eat Bulaga on Channel 9 had an average viewership only.
