AB  - This paper examines the ASEAN's goals and objectives within the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), using the constructivist  approach.  Specifically, it looks into the role and identify of ASEAN in the ARF, and how ASEAN hopes to manage the relationship of the major powers (China, Japan, and the US) through the ARF.  It also examines the importance of the ARF to the Philippines as far as promoting its security interests are concerned.
