AB  - This dictionary is an experimental edition and admits its limitation. It aims to provide a collection of new terms so these can be added to the two earlier dictionaries of Kaufman and Motus; prepare a model entry for a Hiligaynon-Filipino dictionary; serve as a reference intrument for Filipinos and even foreigners who wish to learn/understand Hiligaynon; and to prove that Filipinos can easily learn other Philippine languages not only in vocabulary but in structure as well. It contains 10,000 terms; each term in bold letters with pronunciation. Meanings are provided in Filipino; part of speech specified (e.g. noun, verb, adverb...). Sentences in Hiligaynon are interpreted in Filipino; root words are not limited; syllabication, root word, accent are given to aid non-Hiligaynon users. Arrangement is by Filipino alphabet. This does not include terms for C, F, J, Q, V, X, and Z as these are already included in Motus/Kaufman dictionaries, Entries are specified according to the writers of Yuhum magazine.
