Ninety-respondents from the National Capital Region were gathered to answer the COVID-19 health literacy survey. Data was gathered during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines (July to August 2021). The COVID-19 health literacy level of the respondents was assessed using the HLS-COVID-Q22 tool. The tool was answered on a four-point scale ranging from 1 (very difficult) to 4 (very easy). Mean scores on the test were based on the scoring method, ranging from 1 to 4. The health literacy mean score of the total sample was 3.37 (SD = 0.49), meaning that it was “easy” for participants to deal with information related to COVID- 19. The results of the Spearman’s rank correlation, and Chi-square test for correlation that were conducted indicated that there was no relationship between COVID-19 health literacy level and sex, age, educational attainment, monthly household income, or place of origin. The Mann-Whitney U/Kruskal-Wallis tests that were conducted indicate that there was no significant differences in COVID-19 health literacy levels related to sex, age, educational attainment, monthly household income, and their place of origin. The study revealed that there is no significant relationship between COVID-19 health literacy level and the sociodemographic factors mentioned earlier. Moreover, the Mann-Whitney U/Kruskal-Wallis test identified that the samples came from the same distribution. Mean scores of each of the items in the survey were checked for thehighest (easiest), and lowest (most difficult) to determine which of the items the respondents have difficulty in answering.
