   <subfield code="a">The Robustness Diagram with Loop and Time Controls is a multidimensional workflow diagram capable of representing the resource, process, and case dimensions in one model. To address the lack of literatures representing the behavior of activities in a Robustness Diagram with Loop and Time Controls, we introduced and formalized the concept of parallel maximal activities, extended the concept on the impacts of shared resources between and among activities, and formalized the machinations of the model that can influence concurrent simulation of activities. This is helpful in presenting structures and behaviors in such models that are relevant in effective and efficient modular design and analysis of the system it represents. In recent literature, impedance caused by a shared resource in a loop between maximal activities can influence the separability of a Robustness Diagram with Loop and Time Controls. This research have extended this concept of impedance and separability in parallel maximal activities in the model. This includes determining the impacts of a shared resource, formalized competing processes and process interruption in simultaneous execution and extraction of activities. Furthermore, algorithms were proposed so as to generate a traversal tree and extract parallel maximal activities. The implications of focusing on parallel maximal activities with respect to soundness in Robustness Diagrams with Loop and Time Controls was also presented in this research.</subfield>
