<subfield code="a">The organization of the proponent is a new entrant in the software industry. The performance evaluation of the employees was gauged using a tool that does not efficiently measure the contributions of every individual and does not align with the company’s goals. The objective of the research is to analyze the implementation of a Balanced Scorecard as a performance measurement tool in the areas of general management that will eventually link to strategic management.

The Balanced Scorecard may be described as a strategy-driven measurement system that retains traditional financial measures and adds the perspectives of its present and potential (future) value, namely its customers, employees, processes, technology, and innovation.

The purpose is to show that an organization may consider the Balanced Scorecard as one of the best solutions in tackling the questions concerning:
• Helping to align key performance measures with overall organization strategy at all levels;
• Linking strategic vision and long-term objectives to short term tactics;
• Employee performance tool can be used as a communication tool to increase employee engagement, thus increasing the competitive advantage of the company;
• Review of strategic vision in the light of day-to-day operations management.
• Recommend a technology that will efficiently improve the performance evaluation of its employees</subfield>
