   <subfield code="a">Dyslexia is a term under the umbrella of learning disabilities primarily focused on reading difficulties. The International Dyslexia Association recons that an estimated 15-20% of the world's population experience at least one symptom of dyslexia or the other (Adubasim, 2017). Dyslexia is a lifelong condition but with the right materials and proper interventions and learning environment, the dyslexic person can cope with reading difficulties. In this regard, the majro concern of this study was to create a specialized comics towards developing children's enjoyment with reading, particularly those with dyslexia.&#13;

The study was confined to the determination of descriptions of the specialized comics created for children with dyslexia. The primary subjects of this research study covered the Special Education (SPED) teachers from the University of the Philippines), SPED teachers in public and private institutions and dyslexic High School students who served as a representative sample of the population. The scope of this study was limited to describing the self-made comics with reference to British Dyslexia Style Guide. The study employed quantitative research method where a research-made questionnaire was validated by experts in order to be used in gathering data results. The results revealed that the specialized comics, Super Squad, adhered to the British Style Guide for Dyslexics with regard to media, font, headings and emphasis, layout and writing style used. It is evident in the result that this specialized comics is suggested to be used widely as a supplementary reading material in teaching children with dyslexia, for them to develop the skills and enjoyment in reading.</subfield>
