   <subfield code="a">Ang Minecraft ay isa sa mga larong may malaking impluwensya sa milyun-milyong kabataan ngayon sa buong mundo. Noong Nobyembre 2016, nailunsad ng minecraft: education edition o M: EE upang maging plataporma sa game-based learning. Pagdating sa Pilipinas, naglunsad ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ng programang pagpa-pilot sa M: EE sa pagtuturo noong 2021. Gayunpaman, nagkukulang ang bansa sa mga pag-aaral tungkol sa paggamit ng M: EE sa pagtuturo, lalo na ng tradisyonal na sining ng Pilipinas. &#13;

Ang layunin ng pag-aaral na ito ay tukuyin kung saan at paano mapakikinabangan ang M: EE bilang virtwal na klasrum para sa pagturo ng naturang paksa. Nakipanayam ang mananaliksik sa opisina ng ICTS - EdTech Unit ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon upang makakalap ng mga datos ukol sa kanilang isinasagawang programa sa M: EE.&#13;

Gamit ang balangkas teoretikal na may ideya ng constructionist learning ni Papert, naipakita ng mananaliksik na epektibo ang mga aplikasyong nakalap pagdating sa pagbibigay ng makabuluhang pagkatuto. Sa partikular, nakita na kolaboratibo, interaktibo, learner-centered, at multimedia, ang paggamit ng naturang laro. Ang mga katangian na ito ay mga salik para sa game-based learning na nakapagpapayaman ng mga higher-order thinking skills. At sa gayon, naangkop ang mga aplikasyon sa DBAE at natulay ang mga ito sa pagtuturo ng mga paksang disenyo sa habi, iskulturang kahoy, tradisyonal na arkitektura, at pagbunyi ng pyesta--na silang nagpapatunay na magagamit ang M:EE sa pagtuturo ng trdisyonal na sining ng Pilipinas.</subfield>
