(Asteraceae) were surveyed for their foliar flavonoids. Eighteen flavonoids were identified six flavonol and six flavone glycosides, two methylated and four free aglycones. These are Quercetin 3, 7-0-diglucoside; Kaempferol 6-0-Me, 3-0-glucoside; 4', 7-diOH flavone, 3-O-flucoside; Luteolin 6-O-Me, 7-0-glucoside; Quercetin 3-0-diglucoside; Apigenin 4'-Me, 7-0-diglucoside; Luteolin 3', 7-O-glucoside; Kaempferol 3-O-glucoside; Luteolin 6-OH, 4'-Me; Luteolin 6-O-Me; Apigenin, Luteolin, Kaempferol and Quercetin. The chemosystematic relationships of taxa are discussed in the light of these findings.</subfield>
