The respondents are the senior students of University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College, Eastern Visayas State University and Leyte Normal University. A sampling weight of 20 percent of the total population of fourth year male students for each university is determined. Respondents are determined using the purposive sampling scheme. Data will be gathered through a two-step process since the study is qualitative and quantitative in nature. First process includes the survey using a 13-item self report on pornography questionnaire and the second process is an in-depth interview of 15 respondents to determine the reasons, influences, sources, duration of exposure as well as activities involved in pornography, possible effects and their views on various context of women. Involvement in pornography among the senior male university students is prevalent and all of them have considered themselves to have engaged in pornography with varying preferred materials and duration of exposure. The internet is now their easiest and fastest source of pornography with high influences coming from friends. High school years have been the most evident onset of pornography exposure with the primary reason of curiosity that has bred other reasons like knowledge, sexual gratification and entertainment among the succeeding exposures. Sexual fantasies, arousal and masturbation have constituted the major reactions during exposure. Women in general are continued to be viewed as men's partner that are worth valued; women who engage in pornography are considered abnormal and those that are subjects are said to be prostitutes. Majority of the respondents have indicated more negative effects of pornography over positive ones though they admit continuing the practice despite the negative effects. The prevalence of pornography among senior male university students in Tacloban City is high but on a minimal level with rare cases of addiction. NO - Undergraduate thesis (B.A.S.S.
