   <subfield code="a">Objectives: This study aims to establish baseline data on the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of UPCD senior clinicians which may help in determining areas of ICDAS that could be reinforced in teaching and training, and to open opportunities for future studies in the Philippine setting.</subfield>

   <subfield code="a">Methods: The quantitative descriptive study design employed a 4-part questionnaire conducted online and participated on by UPCD senior clinicians from A.Y. 2020-2021 with 1-2 semesters of clinical experience. The survey tool gathered general information about the participants and questions with regards to their KAP on ICDAS.</subfield>

   <subfield code="a">Results: Out of the 29 participants, 19 (66%) of them had one semester and 10 (34%) had two semesters of clinical experience. The overall mean score for knowledge was 76.1% and is considered ?adequate?, however 5 participants (17%) failed to reach the cut-off score of 70%. Based on the overall mean score, the participants were found to have ?positive? attitude, however 2 (7%) fell under the ?very negative? category. For the Practice component, the clinicians showed ?good practice?; no one fell under the ?poor? category.</subfield>

   <subfield code="a">Conclusion: Generally, UPCD senior clinicians have shown adequate knowledge, positive attitude, and good practice on ICDAS. However, a small percentage of the participants scored lower in their KA scores. Despite having good results, there is still a need to have more clinical exposure, hands-on training, and periodic calibration to reinforce their skills in diagnosis using ICDAS.</subfield>
