   <subfield code="a">The study was carried out to determine if a new technique, the pressure cooker technique could work as an alternative if not a better method than the conventional rapid curing technique. Curing by the two methods, the rapid curing technique and the pressure cooker technique were done and their degree of porosity compared statistically using the difference between two proportions with 95% as the confidence level. Results show that the quality of acrylic resin cured in either technique does not differ significantly. Recommendations are included at the end of the text.</subfield>
