Accumulating evidences from current studies indicate that the effect could be devastating as pathogens intensify temporarily and spatially. Modeling and simulation can be used to better understand the dynamics of pest epidemics in s changing climate as a prerequisite to developing a sound pest management strategy. This approach has been attempted in abaca bunchy top virus disease and black sigatoka of banana, caused by mycospherella fijiensis morelet.</subfield>
